Tigers Drop to 12-2 after Loss to Second-ranked Bears

April 4, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — The 18th-ranked Tigers dropped to 12-2 on the season after dropping an 8-1 decision to second-ranked Washington University at the Blackstock Courts. The Bears improved to 11-2 with the win.
DePauw picked up its lone point as Bryan Heck and Scott Sandager defeated Charlie Cutler and Isaac Stein at number-one singles by an 8-4 score.
The Bears held a 2-1 lead after doubles before sweeping singles, but three of the matches went to a third set.
The Tigers return to action on Tuesday, April 7, when they host Marian (Ind.) at 4 p.m.
