Hakeman named SCAC co-Defensive Player of the Week

hakeman.jpgDePauw senior Emily Hakeman (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard West) has been named the co-Defensive Player of the Week in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

 

Hakeman spearheaded a defense that recorded shutouts against Wittenberg and Earlham last weekend. In thos two games, the opponents managed just six shots. Hakeman also assisted on Kim Schreiner's goal in the 1-0 win at Wittenberg.

 

The 14th-ranked Tigers travel to Delaware, Ohio, on Saturday to face top-ranked Ohio Wesleyan.
