Tigers return to SCAC play at nationally-ranked Trinity

September 25, 2003

Coming off a 39-20 win at 15th-ranked Hanover, DePauw hits the road for the third straight week and returns to Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action in San Antonio against Trinity University.

Trinity, the 10-time defending SCAC champions and last year's Division III runners-up, are 2-1 after a 35-31 loss at Pomona-Pitzer last Saturday. Trinity's Tigers are ranked 18th in the American Football Coaches Association poll and 22nd in both the D3football.com and Football Gazette polls. DePauw received votes this week in both the AFCA and D3football.com polls. The Tigers will try to snap Trinity's 21-game home win streak and their 35-game regular season home win string.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at E.M. Stevens Stadium. The live WGRE broadcast is available over the Internet at this address or for a fee through Teamline by calling 1-800-846-4700 and entering DePauw's code of 4613.
