DePauw opens season at Transylvania; picked fourth in SCAC poll

The DePauw men's basketball team opens the 2003-04 season on Friday, November 21, at the Transylvania University Tipoff Tournament in Lexington, Ky.

 

The Tigers open play against Lakeland at 6 p.m. on Friday. They then face either Wisconsin-Whitewater or Transylvania on Saturday at either 2 or 4 p.m. Both games will be broadcast by WGRE and are available online.

 

DePauw, 18-8 last season and Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season champions, were picked to finish fourth in the SCAC in voting by the league's 10 head coaches. Trinity was picked to win the conference followed by Southwestern and Centre. For the entire preseason poll, please visit the conference site.
