Tigers open season at Illinois Wesleyan; picked second in SCAC poll

The DePauw women's basketball team opens the 2003-04 season at the Illinois Wesleyan Tipoff Tournament in Bloomington, Ill.

 

The Tigers open play on Friday, November 21, when they take on Washington (Mo.) at 5 p.m. CST. On Saturday, DePauw faces either Illinois Wesleyan or Illinois College at 2 or 4 p.m. CST. Both games will be broadcast by WGRE and are also available online.

 

In voting by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference's 10 head coaches, the Tigers were picked to finish second behind defending SCAC and Division III champion Trinity University. For the entire preseason poll, please visit the conference site.
