Top-ranked DePauw leads SCAC after first round

2004 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Spring Sports Festival

 

Lake Lanier, Ga. - The top-ranked DePauw women's team holds a 15-stroke lead over second-place Trinity after shooting a 321 in the first round of the 2004 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships at Pine Isle Resort.

 

Sarah Gates leads all individuals with a 75 with Lisa Chambers third at 80. Jessica Schneider, the top-ranked individual in Division III, along with Deborah Garriott and Lindsay Amore are tied for fourth at 83.

 

Play concludes on Sunday afternoon.
