14th-ranked DePauw wins Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational

KENOSHA, Wis. - The 14th-ranked DePauw women's cross country team won its third meet of the season as it finished first amongst 16 teams at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside Invitational.
The Tigers finished with 86 points and ahead of Wisconsin-Parkside with 101 and Indiana Wesleyan with 103. DePauw also placed ahead of three Division I schools.
Natalie Shaffer finished sixth in a time of 18:52, while Leslie Dillon was 10th in 19:04. Liz Ulrich followed in 18th place in 19:17, while Mandy Willingham was 31st in 19:36 and Taylor Penrod was 32nd in 19:36. Megan Swick of Lansing Community College won the meet in 18:27.

DePauw returns to action on Saturday, October 30, when it attempts to defend its 2003 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference title in Jackson, Miss.
