DePauw moves to 4-0 in SCAC with 1-0 shutout at Centre

DANVILLE, Ky. - Melissa Davis' goal early in the second half was all that visiting DePauw needed in a 1-0 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory at Centre.

 

Davis scored unassisted with 33:17 left in the second half to propel the Tigers to their fourth SCAC win in as many tries. DePauw improved to 9-5 overall. Centre dropped to 2-12 overall and 0-4 in the SCAC.

 

Centre outshot DePauw 12-7 and held a 7-3 advantage in corners. Sara Shalowitz recorded eight saves for the Tigers, while Ann Guagliardo had five for the Colonels.

 

DePauw returns to action at Sewanee on Friday, October 29.
