Schaueble shares SCAC honor

schaeuble.jpgGREENCASTLE, Ind. - DePauw senior middle hitter Sunny Schaeuble has been named Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Co-Player of the Week. She shares the honor with Trinity's Ashley Farrimond.

 

During the last week DePauw finished 4-1 including a 4-0 record at the SCAC East Divisional at Rose-Hulman. Schaeuble hit .348 in DePauw's four matches, with 40 kills (3.33 per game) and just eight errors in 92 total attacks.

 

She also averaged 2.08 blocks per game and leads the SCAC in that category with 146. Schaeuble is now tied for third all-time in SCAC history with 531 career blocks - just 38 from the all-time lead.
