10th-ranked Tiger men win fifth straight SCAC title

CLINTON, Miss. - Graham Wellman won his third straight Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference title and led DePauw to its fifth consecutive SCAC crown.

 

The Tigers won with 29 points followed by Centre with 74 and Trinity with 83. Wellman won in 26:26.88 with Keith Marshall placing fourth in 26:46.82 and Matthew Behrensmeyer in sixth in 27:02.33. Other DePauw runners earning all-conference honors included Ben Stallsworth in seventh in 27:05.02 and Chad Bennett in 11th in 27:16.06.

 

DePauw, ranked 10th in Divison III, returns to action at the Division III regional at Alma, Mich., on November 13.
