Women's basketball team ranked eighth in D3hoops.com preseason poll

GREENCASTLE, Ind. - Coming off a 26-4 season, the DePauw women's basketball team enters the 2004-05 season ranked eighth by D3hoops.com.
Last year's Tigers advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III Championship after winning their fifth Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference title in their six years in the league. They finished the season ranked 11th by D3hoops.com.
Head coach Kris Huffman begins her 12th season with the Tigers and leads three returning starters and 11 letterwinners from the 2003-04 squad. DePauw opens the season on Friday, November 19, when it hosts Kalamazoo in the first round of the DePauw Tipoff Tournament.
