DePauw moves up to seventh in D3hoops.com poll

December 14, 2004, Greencastle, Ind. - The 6-1 DePauw women's basketball team, winners of five straight, moved up three spots to seventh in the latest D3hoops.com Top 25 poll.The top three in the poll remained the same from last week with Bowdoin leading the way followed by New York University and Hardin-Simmons. Capital is fourth followed by Wisconsin-Oshkosh and Puget Sound.
The Tigers are the top-ranked team with one loss. That defeat came to eighth-ranked Washington (Mo.) on November 20.
DePauw returns to action on Tuesday, December 21, when they face Ripon in the D-3 Desert Shootout in Las Vegas. Ripon is 7-0 and the first team listed among those receiving votes toward this week's top 25. Tipoff for that game is 5:45 p.m. PST (8:45 in Greencastle) and the live broadcast can be heard on WGRE.
