Argetsinger named to two Division III all-region teams

March 16, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw senior forward Amy Argetsinger has added to her list of accolades after earning spots on two Division III all-region teams.
Argetsinger was named to the Kodak/Women's Basketball Coaches Association All-Region 6 Team and is one of 40 finalists for the 10-member all-America team which will be announced later this week. She also was named to the D3hoops.com all-Great Lakes Region First Team and is eligible for the all-America team which will also be announced in conjunction with this weekend's national semifinals and finals.
The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, Argetsinger led this year's team in scoring with 14.5 points per game and was second with 4.9 rebounds per game. She was second in field goal shooting at 54.4 percent and led the squad with an 81.7 free throw percentage. Argetsinger currently ranks 21st in Division III in field goal percentage and 46th in free throw percentage.
DePauw's all-time leading scorer, Argetsinger finished her career with 1,447 points which also ranked fifth in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference history. She also established DePauw career records for free throws made (356), free throws attempted (452)and games played (116).
She also ranked sixth in school history in field goal percentage (.526), seventh in three-point percentage (.366), eighth in free throw percentage (.788), sixth in rebounding (597) and second in games started (103).
Argetsinger was earlier named one of 10 finalists for the Jostens Division III Player of the Year Award.
