Third-ranked Tigers climb to fourth in NCAA Championships

May 11, 2005, Southern Pines, N.C. - DePauw shot a second-round 325 and moved up to fourth at the midway point of the NCAA Championships at Mid Pines.

The 25th-ranked Tigers' 670 is 39 strokes off the lead of Methodist. Mary Hardin-Baylor is second at 642 and Wisconsin-Eau Claire is third at 666.

Sarah Gates shot a 75 and is tied for eighth with a 161, while Ali Murtaugh shot an 85 and is tied for 15th with a 167. Lindsay Amore is tied for 27th with a 171 after firing an 82in the second round.

Lauren Brummett is 35th with a 173 after shooting an 83. Lisa Chambers rounded out the Tigers scorers with a 175 and is tied for 37th after and 87 in the second.
