Kuresman invited to NCAA Singles Championship

kuresman050705.jpgMay 10, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw senior Marshall Kuresman has earned a spot in the NCAA Division III Singles Championship which begins Saturday, May 21, at the University of California Santa Cruz.

Kuresman earned a spot in the 32-player field after posting a 27-5 record this year including wins in each of his last 11 matches.

The two-time all-America selection earned all-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference honors for the second time after being named the player of the year in 2003. He also earned SCAC all-tournament honors after winning all three matches at this year's conference championsips.

In the fall, Kuresman won the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Central Region singles title and advanced to the national quarterfinals.
