Kuresman bows out of NCAA Singles Championship in round of 16

May 21, 2005, Santa Cruz, Calif. - DePauw senior Marshall Kuresman opened play at the NCAA Division III Singles Championship with a first-round win before losing in the round of 16.

Kuresman picked up a first-round victory over Ricky Butenko of Pacific Lutheran by a 7-5, 6-2 score and then lost to Brian Waldron of Middlebury 6-1, 6-3.

Kuresman improved finished the season with a 28-6 record.
