DePauw falls to Ohio Wesleyan

September 17, 2005, Delaware, Ohio - The DePauw men's soccer team dropped to 2-2-1 on the season following a 4-1 loss at fifth-ranked Ohio Wesleyan. The Battling Bishops improved to 7-0 with the victory.
Ohio Wesleyan's Nick Skocen scored twice in the first 14 minutes to give the hosts all they would need. Nick Markovich scored at 35:24 to make it 3-0 before Craig Lippincott scored at 43:29 to make it 3-1. Jeff Fisher rounded out the scoring at 62:56 with an unassisted goal.
The Battling Bishops outshot DePauw 29-11 and held an 8-2 advantage in corners. John Fenley recorded six saves for DePauw, while Cody Ladd totaled four. Jamison Dague finished with two saves for Ohio Wesleyan.
DePauw travels to Wabash on Wednesday, September 21.
