Tigers win Illinois Wesleyan Invitational; records established

September 18, 2005, Bloomington, Ill. - Second-ranked DePauw shot a school-record 295 in the first round and equaled a two-round best of 601 to win the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic at the Ironwood Country Club.
Lauren Brummett established a single-round school record after firing a 69 during Saturday's first round. Brummett finished with a 147 which was good for a tie for third. Sarah Gates shot a 73 in each round and her 146 was good for second place. Kristen Kriegshauser and Ali Murtaugh each shot 155 to tie for 17th and Lisa Chambers finished with a 156 in a tie for 23rd. Franklin's Katie Tewell was the medalist with a 137 including a 67 in the second round. The Tigers compete at Southern Indiana on September 25-26. Back
