Federspiel named SCAC Defensive Player of the Week

federspiel.jpgOctober 5, 2005, Greencastle, Ind. - Junior back Davis Federspiel has been selected the SCAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, September 26 through Sunday, October 2.

Federspiel led the DePauw defense to two shutout wins over Manchester (2-0) and SCAC-foe Rose-Hulman (2-0) which evened her team's overall mark at 4-4-0.

The Tigers outshot their opponent's 33-9, including 16-4 in Saturday's conference match with Rose-Hulman.

DePauw returns to SCAC play on Friday, October 7, when it hosts Southwestern.
