Seventh-ranked Tigers win Midwest Invitational; defeat fourth-ranked Gusties in title match

April 8, 2006, Madison, Wis. - The seventh-ranked Tigers improved to 15-1 after sweeping all three matches at the Midwest Invitational and capturing the team title.

DePauw opened with a 7-2 win over Kalamazoo and then defeated 18th-ranked Wheaton in the semifinals. In the title match, the Tigers knocked off fourth-ranked Gustavus Adolphus by a 5-1 count.
