Tigers remain in second at halfway point of Division III Championships

May 10, 2006, Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. - The second-ranked Tigers shot a second-round 325 and remained in second place with a two-round total of 652 at the midpoint of the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships at the Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort. Methodist College leads with a 615.
Sarah Gates shot a 78 today and is tied for third overall and two shots off the lead at 155, while Ali Murtaugh is tied for ninth with a 160 after shooting a second-round 81.
Lauren Brummett is tied for 22nd with a 167 after shooting an 83 today, while Lisa Chambers is 32nd with a 172 including today's 85. Kristen Kriegshauser is tied for 34th at 174 after a second-round 83. Charlotte Williams of Methodist leads the field with a 153.
