Second-ranked DePauw heads to final round in second place

May 11, 2006, Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla. - The second-ranked Tigers shot a third-round 330 and remained in second place with a three-round total of 982 at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships at the Mission Inn Golf and Tennis Resort. Methodist College leads with a 928. Gustavus Adolphus is in third with a 987 and Wartburg is fourth with a 999.
Sarah Gates shot a 79 today and is in second place with a three-round total of 234 which is five strokes off the lead of Methodist's Charlotte Williams.
Ali Murtaugh is tied for 14th with a 245 after shooting an 85 in the third round. Lauren Brummett is tied for 24th with a 251 including and 84 today.
Lisa Chambers shot a third-round 83 and is in 30th place with a 255, while Kristen Kriegshauser is tied for 31st with a 258 after shooting an 84 in the third round.
