September 9, 2006, Hanover, Ind. - DePauw took three of four matches on the weekend and claimed the Hanover Invitational title.
The Tigers defeated Ohio Wesleyan 30-12, 30-15, 30-21 to finish pool play with a 3-1 record and then knocked off Spalding 30-28, 30-28, 32-30 to claim the title.
DePauw's Kim Hamer was named the tournament's most valuable player.
