Transylvania wins Small College Classic; Tigers finish second

September 11, 2006, Clayton, Ind. - Transylvania shot a two-round 599 and won the DePauw Small College Classic by three strokes over DePauw at the Deer Creek Golf Club.
Transylvania's Bradley Sutherland and Justin Ridge each shot 144 and Sutherland was named the medalist through tiebreaking rules.
DePauw's Josh Abrams tied for fourth with a 149, while Jordan Voss and Joey Piatek each shot 151 and tied for seventh. Rob Harper shot a 154 and placed in a tie for 15th, while Matt Calby was tied for 21st with a 156.
Among the DePauw players competing as individuals, Peter Haller tied for seventh with a 151 followed by Jon Clevenger and Jake Walsh who tied for 15th at 154.
Danny Stetson shot a 155 and placed in a tie for 19th followed by Matt Bollero in a tie for 21st at 156 and Michael Reed in a tie for 25th with a 157.
DePauw returns to action at the Franklin Invitational on September 24-25.
