September 27, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw junior Taylor Penrod was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for her performance at the Division III Pre-Nationals.
Penrod finished 15th out of 181 runners at the meet and was the top SCAC finisher in a personal-best time of 22:47.
She was followed closely by her teammates with a 16-second spread that helped the Tigers place third overall.
