October 31, 2006, Greencastle, Ind. - Junior middle hitter Kim Hamer has been selected Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Volleyball co-Player of the Week for matches played October 23 through October 29. She shared the honor with Crystal Jessee of Rhodes.
Hamer hit .463 with 27 kills and just two errors in 54 total attacks as the Tigers won their only two matches of the week.
She averaged 3.86 kills and 1.57 blocks per game in the Tigers' victories over Rose-Hulman and Defiance. She also added six digs and four service aces.
