Tigers move to 16-0 with two more wins in Florida

March 27, 2007, Fort Myers, Fla. - The Tigers improved to 16-0 on the season as they picked up a 6-0 win over Thomas and an 8-0 victory over Southern Maine at the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic.
Lauren Curosh pitched the four-hit shutout in the Thomas game, while Rachel Gill hit a two-run homer. Jessica Krueger and Carolyn Bartlett each had two of DePauw's six hits, while Bartlett drove in three and Gill two. Four different Thomas players had one hit each.
Against Southern Maine, Megan Soultz pitched a one-hitter, struck out eight and allowed just one runner to reach base in the five innings in improving to 7-0. The Tigers scored four in the third and two each in the fourth and fifth. Kaitlyn Davitt led DePauw with two of its seven hits including a homer. Davit drove in three, while Krueger and Gill each had two.The Tigers take on SUNY-Potsdam and MIT on Thursday. Back
