Tigers Finish Second at SCAC Championships

October 27, 2007, Georgetown, Texas - Paced by Dusty Kime's fourth-place finish, the Tigers claimed second place at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships. Colorado College won with 37 points, while DePauw totaled 63. Rhodes was third with 78. DePauw had won each of the last seven SCAC titles.
Kim finished fourth in 26:01.80, while Zach Weinberg was 10th in 26:37.00 and Nathan Ellis rounded out DePauw's all-SCAC performers in 13th in 27:10.50.
Kendal Gulbrandsen placed 15th in 27:13.65 followed by Nick Pucillo in 21st in 27:31.30 and Mike Murphy in 22nd in 27:31.90. Alex Nichols of Colorado College won in 25:36.05.
The Tigers compete in the Great Lakes Regional in Grand Rapids, Mich., on November 10.
