Gill hit .545 for the week with at least one hit in all three games. Soultz, a third-team all-America selection as a freshman, opened season with 2-1 record. She allowed three earned runs in the first three innings of the season against 13th-ranked Emory and then did not allow another over the remaining 18 frames.
For the week, Soultz pitched 21.0 innings, allowing just the three earned runs (five total) with 14 strikeouts and six walks.
DePauw travels to Danville, Ky., this weekend to participate in the March Mayhem Tournament hosted by Centre.
