April 19, 2008, Terre Haute, Ind. - DePauw shot a first-round 311 and leads the Rose-Hulman Invitational by three strokes over the hosts at Hulman Links.

Joey Piatek is tied for second with a 75, while Rob Harper is tied for fifth at 77. Peter Haller shot a 70 and is tied for 10th, while Alex Burns is tied for 13th with an 80. Michael Reed shot an 84 and is tied for 28th. Mount St. Joseph's Chris Lamb is the individual leader with a 73.
