Otterbein Wins DePauw Small College Classic; Tigers Finish Third

September 28, 2008, Clayton, Ind. - Otterbein shot a two-round 629 including a second-round 308 and captured its second consecutive DePauw Women's Golf Small College Classic team title at the Deer Creek Golf Club. Olivet was second with a 640 and DePauw placed third with a 641.
Otterbein's 629 matched the DePauw Classic tournament record and is the best in the seven years in which the tournament has been held at Deer Creek.
Centre's Emily Bachert earned medalist honors after shooting a 146.
DePauw was paced by Nikki Garza who finished third with a 152, while Taylor Beaty and Annie Mail each shot 161 and tied for ninth. Natalie Gough finished in a tie for 20th with a 167 and Meagan Hayes was tied for 26th with a 171.
