Havercamp Earns SCAC Weekly Honors

November 19, 2008, Greencastle, Ind. - DePauw junior kicker Jordan Havercamp has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in DePauw's 36-14 win at second-ranked Wabash in the annual Monon Bell game.

Havercamp booted field goals of 25, 42 and 28 yards and connected on three of four extra-point attempts for 12 of the Tigers' points.

The honor was Havercamp's second of the season as he also earned the award after DePauw's 31-21 win over Birmingham-Southern.

DePauw finished the season with a second consecutive 8-2 season and tied for second place in the final SCAC standings.
