Reich Breaks School Record at Purdue; Improves Upon NCAA Provisional Time

reich_lauren_2008wcc.jpgFebruary 21, 2009, West Lafayette, Ind. —  DePauw junior Lauren Reich competed in the Boilermaker Invitational at Purdue's Lambert Fieldhouse and placed third in the one-mile run.

Reich's time of 4:58.33 broke the DePauw school record of 4:59.51 held by Natalie Shaffer and established on March 8, 2003. The time was also an NCAA Division III provisional time which improved upon her previous provisional time of 5:04.70 set at last week's DePauw Invitational.
