Tigers Remain Ranked in Both National Polls Prior to NCAA Play

travelstead0708.jpgMarch 5, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. —  The 22-5 Tigers remained ranked in both Division III national polls as DePauw is 22nd in the D3hoops.com Top 25 poll and 21st in the USA Today ESPN Coaches' Poll.

DePauw has at least received votes in 153 of the 154 D3hoops.com polls since the rankings began in 1999 and has earned top-25 status 119 times including in 78 of the last 84 polls.

The Tigers are making their sixth straight NCAA Division III postseason appearance and 10th in the last 14 years when they face Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Friday, March 6, at Illinois Wesleyan. Tipoff from the Shirk Center in Bloomington, Ill., is scheduled for 6 p.m. CST.
