Tigers Tied for 13th after Three Rounds of NCAA Golf Championships

May 15, 2009, Port St. Lucie, Fla. — The 11th-ranked Tigers shot a third-round 342 and are tied for 13th with one round remaining at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships at the PGA Golf Club's Wanamaker Course.
Nine-time defending champion Methodist has a 19-stroke lead over Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a 941. The Tigers are tied with Olivet and Wartburg and are just seven strokes out of ninth place.
Erin Kielty leads the Tigers with a 243 which is good for a tie for 27th place, while Natalie Gough is tied for 32nd with a 246. Taylor Beaty shot DePauw's best round of the day at 82 and is in 61st place with a 253. Nikki Garza is tied for 77th with a 262 and Kelly Gaughan is tied for 86th at 264.
Methodist's Susan Martin continues to lead the field with a one-over 217.
Play concludes with Saturday's fourth and final round.
