Reich Breaks Own School Record; Qualfies for Saturday's 800 Finals

reich_lauren_2008wcc.jpgMay 22, 2009, Marietta, Ohio —  DePauw junior Lauren Reich broke her own school record in the 800-meter run and qualified for tomorrow's finals at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships.

Reich, who broke the 21-year old school mark just two weeks ago, finished second in her heat in 2:11.96 which equaled the third-fastest time.

She will also compete in the 1,500-meter finals tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. with the 800 finals set for 3 p.m.
