DePauw Men Take First at Hokum Karem Meet

September 5, 2009, Crawfordsville, Ind. —  DePauw totaled 20 points and claimed a narrow win over Wabash and Indianapolis at the Wabash College Hokum Karem. Wabash and Indianapolis each totaled 22 points with Marian in fourth with 23.

Nick Pucillo and Chris Dietrick finished fifth with a combined time of 29:31, while Zack Weinberg and Eric Hawley were sixth in 29:37. Joe Evans and Tyler Giesting rounded out DePauw's scorers with a ninth-place showing in 29:45.

DePauw returns to action on Friday, September 18, at the Indiana Intercollegiate at Terre Haute.
