DePauw Sweeps Singles and Doubles Matches at Invitational

September 9, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw players won all six singles and three doubles flights in the season-opening, seven-team DePauw Invitational. Complete results are available here.

Kelly Gebert won at the number one spot with a three-set win over IUPUI's Hunter Bullock. Kayla Smith won the second singles flight, while Courtney Ulrich took the third and defeated teammate Courtney Griffin in the three-set title match.

Taylor Prodromos captured number-four singles, followed by Lizzy Whitlatch at number-five with a three-set victory over teammate Anna Prasch. Katie Regan won the sixth singles flight.

In doubles play, Prodromos and Gebert won the first flight with Sarah MacPhail and Ulrich winning the second. Griffin and Elizabeth Young captured the third doubles flight with a win over teammates Whitlatch and Prasch. The Tigers return home on Saturday, September 12, with matches against IUPUI at 8 a.m. and Indianapolis at 4 p.m.
