22nd-ranked DePauw Finishes Fifth at Indiana Intercollegiate; Tops Among Non-Division I Schools

September 18, 2009, Terre Haute, Ind. — Paced by Lauren Reich's eighth-place finish, 22nd-ranked DePauw totaled 160 points and finished fifth at the Indiana Intercollegiate. Indiana won with 47 points, while Purdue was second with 52. The Tigers led the non-Division I field with Indiana Wesleyan second.

Reich (pictured) finished eighth in 18:17, while Ellen Mail was 16th in 18:55. Jess Macy placed 33rd in 19:22 followed by Claire Hollis in 38th in 19:33 and Taryn Owens in 65th in 20:23.

Julie Southworth was 69th in 20:28 and Kelsey Moore rounded out DePauw's top finishers in 92nd place in 20:56.

The Tigers compete in the Otterbein Invitational on Saturday, September 26.
