Tigers Win Franklin Invitational; Reardon Earns Medalist Honors

September 29, 2009, Franklin, Ind. — DePauw overcame a three-shot deficit after the first round and claimed its second straight team title as it won the Franklin Invitational by two strokes over Transylvania. The Tigers shot a two-round 625 at the Legends of Indiana, while Transylvania finished at 627 and Mount St. Joseph was third with a 632.
DePauw's Nick Reardon was the medalist after shooting a 150 for a two-stroke win. Peter Haller followed for the Tigers with a 158, while Ronnie Harris shot a 161. Peter Haller finished with a 162 and Ryan Berra rounded out the Tigers' lineup with a 163.
The Tigers return to action on October 5-6 when they compete in the Butler Invitational.
