Castagno Named SCAC Player of the Week

October 21, 2009, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw freshman forward Lauren Castagno was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week for her performances against Oberlin and Wooster.
In Saturday's 7-0 win at Oberlin, Castagno started the scoring for the Tigers just 34 seconds into the game, assisted on the next goal and scored the Tigers' third goal of the game all before halftime. She then added her second assist in the second half.
DePauw takes a 9-6 overall record and a 3-2 SCAC mark into weekend games at Rhodes and Hendrix.
