Baugh Named SCAC Swimmer of the Week

January 20, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw junior Josh Baugh has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week for his performances in the Tigers' third-place finish at the Washington-St. Louis Invitational.
Baugh posted five swims that were his fastest non-rested times of the year. He led off the 200-yard freestyle relay with a 21.97, the 400 free relay with a 48.12 and finished the 100 breaststroke in 1:00.89. Baugh posted a 2:15.67 in the 200 breast and finished the 200 individual medley in 1:59.67. Both finishes were season best times.
On the 800 free relay he swam a 1:45.97 split which also was a non-rested best. Baugh also anchored a 200 medley relay with a 21.7-second split. His leadoff swims helped spark the 200 and 400 relay to post the fastest unrested times in the last 15 years at DePauw.
The seventh-ranked Tigers host Illinois Wesleyan and Franklin at 1 p.m. this Saturday.
