Men's Swimmers and Divers Sweep SCAC Weekly Honors

Spichiger_Robby_0910mswim.jpgFebruary 5, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. —  A pair of Tigers earned weekly honors from the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference for their performances in the Tigers' meet at the University of Chicago.

Springer_Patrick_0910mswim.jpgRobby Spichiger (left) was named the conference's Swimmer of the Week after posting season best times in the 1000-yard freestyle in 9:57.29 and in the 500 free in 4:47.95. He won both events.

Patrick Springer (right) earned Diver of the Week honors after winning one-meter diving with a season-high 253.5 points and finishing second on the three-meter board with a season's best 224.95 points.

The seventh-ranked Tigers host IUPUI  tonight at 6 p.m. and Rose-Hulman tomorrow at 1 p.m.
