19th-ranked DePauw Women Aim for 16th Straight Win Tomorrow at Oglethorpe

20100206_150653.JPGFebruary 13, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. —  The 19th-ranked DePauw women's basketball team takes a 15-game win streak into tomorrow afternoon's Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference game at Oglethorpe. Tipoff from Dorough Field House in Atlanta is set for Noon .

The Tigers are 19-3 overall and 12-1 in the SCAC after Friday's 82-37 win at Sewanee. With that win, DePauw clinched the top seed from the SCAC Eastern Division for the conference tournament in two weeks.

With their next win, the Tigers will clinch a ninth straight 20-win season and 13th in the last 14 years. Only nine Division III programs entered the season with as long of a streak of 20-win campaigns.

DePauw entered this week ranked first in the nation with a +16.8 rebound margin, sixth in scoring margin (+20.0) and sixth in fewest turnovers (14.4).

Oglethorpe is 9-14 overall and 4-10 in the conference following last night's 80-67 loss to Centre. DePauw won the January 10 meeting in Greencastle by an 84-51 score.
