Tigers Host Rhodes on Friday in Final Home Weekend of Season

February 18, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — DePauw returns to Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference action on Friday, February 19, when it hosts Rhodes. Tipoff from the Neal Fieldhouse is set for 8 p.m.
The Tigers are 16-7 overall and 9-5 in the SCAC after Sunday’s 77-70 loss at Oglethorpe. DePauw has clinched its fifth straight .500 or better season and 25th in the last 28 years.
Rhodes is 10-13 overall and 4-10 in the SCAC after Monday’s 91-68 non-conference win over Free Will Baptist.
DePauw won the December 4 meeting in Memphis by an 86-64 score as Steve Lemasters led the way with 23 followed by David Gray with a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds. Tony James dished out eight assists in the win. Larry Cunningham paced Rhodes with 15 points with Kory Kilpatrick and Reid Hamilton each adding 13. Kilpatrick grabbed eight rebounds and Andyshea Saberioon handed out six assists.
Prior to the game, the Tigers will recognize their four seniors who are playing their final home games this weekend. Pictured above with head coach Bill Fenlon, they include: Matt Bennett, Tony James, Tom Callen and David Gray.
