#8 Tigers Improve to 14-2 with Win over Erskine

March 25, 2010, Hilton Head Island, S.C. —  The eighth-ranked Tigers improved to 14-2 and wrapped up their spring trip with a 6-3 win over Erskine on Hilton Head Island, S.C.

DePauw's number-two doubles team of Janelle Arita and Kelly Gebert picked up an 8-6 win over Abby O'Reilly and Victoria Stephens, while the number-three tandem of Tricia Wilks and Taylor Prodromos gave the Tigers a 2-1 lead with an 8-1 victory over Nikki Miller and Bridget McKenna.

DePauw then won at third through sixth singles to take the win. Greer Mackie beat O'Reilly at number three by a 6-1, 6-4 score and Kayla Smith defeated Stephens 6-1,6-1 at the number four spot.

Wilks topped Miller at fifth singles by a 6-1, 6-1 score and Courtney Griffin took a 6-0, 6-1 win over Hannah Fisher at sixth singles.

The Tigers return to action on April 2-3 at the Midwest Regional in Madison, Wis.
