Fifth-ranked Tigers in Third after First Round of SCAC Women's Golf Championships

April 23, 2010, Stone Mountain, Ga. — Fifth-ranked DePauw shot an opening-round 344 and is in third place after the first of three rounds of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championships at the Stonemont Golf Course.
Centre, ranked 15th in Division III, leads with a 341, while 11th-ranked Southwestern is second at 342. Rhodes is fourth at 349 and Trinity is in fifth at 375.
Natalie Gough (pictured) paced DePauw with an opening-round 81 and is in fourth place, while Camila Romero is tied for fifth with an 82. Kelly Gaughan is tied for 14th with a 90 followed by Erin Kielty in a tie for 17th with a 91 and Taylor Beaty in 23rd with a 93.
Rhodes' Stephanie Mingos leads the field with a 79. Play continues Saturday and Sunday. Complete information is available from the official site.
