Tigers Compete at Billy Hayes Invitational

May 9, 2010, Bloomington, Ind. —  Several Tigers competed at the Billy Hayes Invitational paced by a pair of top five finishes.

Lauren Reich finished fourth in the 1,500 meters in 4:35.03 and Ellen Mail was fifth in the 3,000 meters in 10:45.30. Lindsey Bauman was seventh in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 12:19.88.

Nicole Stein was 10th in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:03.05 and improved upon her NCAA provisional time. Claire Hollis was also 10th in the 1,500 meters in 4:43.83, while Brittany Sievers finished 12th in the discus in 37.19 meters (122-0) and Schavel Morrison placed 14thin the 400 meters in 1:02.20.

The Tigers' 4 x 400 relay of (Brittany Brand, Lauren Reich, Schavel Morrison, Nicole Stein) was eighth in 4:12.30.
