Three Tigers Earn SCAC Men's Tennis Honors

May 4, 2010, Greencastle, Ind. — Three DePauw student-athletes were named to the All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference team in voting by the league's head coaches. The complete release is available here.
Senior Scott Sandager (left) finished second in total points in the all-conference voting and collected two first-place votes. The Deerfield, Ill., resident earned similar honors in 2008 and 2009 and finished the 2010 season with a 19-13 singles record primarily at the number-one spot and was 23-11 in doubles competition.
Sophomore Michael Rardon (right) of Indianapolis was eighth in total points amongst the 10-player all-conference team. Rardoon was 17-14 in singles play, mostly at the number-two spot and posted a 20-12 doubles mark.
Senior Will Gates of Fairway, Kan. was an honorable mention choice after recording a 16-3 singles record and a 22-11 doubles mark.
DePauw, ranked 15th in Division III, finished the season with a 16-10 overall record and second at the SCAC Championship.
