Through three semesters, Baker posted a 4.00 cumulative grade point average.

Baker was the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference female swimmer of the year this season after setting a DePauw single-season record with 615.75 total points. She was also named conference swimmer of the meet with wins in the 200-yard individual medley and the 100 & 200 breaststrokes.

Baker earned all-America honors at the NCAA Division III Championships with a sixth-place finish in the 100 breast and earned honorable mention all-America in the 200 individual medley and the 200 breast. She also holds two school individual records and two more on relays.

Baker is DePauw's 42nd Academic All-America selection and the first DePauw student-athlete to earn the honor as a sophomore since three-time honoree Nancy Gritter did so in 1986.

Since the program’s inception in 1952, CoSIDA has bestowed Academic All-America honors on more than 15,000 student-athletes in Divisions I, II, III and NAIA, covering all NCAA championship sports.
